Lena grew up in San Marcos and graduated from San Marcos High School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of San Diego and attained her Masters in Business Administration at Cal State San Marcos. She has worked in Human Resources for the past 10 years and also owns a small business. She has served with the Student and Neighborhood Commission with the city and on the Vestry at her church. Shehas four boys; one in second grade, another in first grade, and two future Mustangs. She enjoys being involved and giving back to the community.
Chelsea Walker grew up in San Marcos and even attended Richland Elementary. She went to nursing school in San Diego county and is currently working for San Diego Regional Center caring for patients with neurological disorders. She has two mustang children and one future mustang and has been an active member of the community, helping in school activities and as a room parent every year for the past 6 years. She has a passion for helping others and looks forward to continuing her involvement with the PTO.
Juana grew up in Encinitas and graduated from La Costa Canyon High School; she then attended Mira Costa College in Oceanside as an undeclared major student. In the year 2000 she got married and moved to Oceaside CA. Juana always dreamed of having a big family and she was definitely blessed. She now has 4 beautiful daughters who are her pride and joy. She has been a stay at home mom since her first one was born; although being a stay at home mom has always been her priority, that didn't keep her away from being an active member of her community. She loves to volunteer at her kid's schools as much as possible . Juana and her family have been part of the Mustang Family since 2014; she is currently a San Marcos supervisor substitute and loves being a part of the FOR Club.
Breena grew up in Idaho and moved to Portland, OR after high school where she obtained her BS in Administration of Justice and she started her career as a Legal Assistant working in Dependency Law. During this time she began advocating for foster children as a CASA. She later took some time to travel overseas with her husband and shortly after returning, they started their family and eventually settled here in San Marcos. She has two Mustangs; one in second grade and the other in Kindergarten and has an eager Mustang to be at home. Breena enjoys helping and supporting the community and continues her service as a CASA through Voices For Children. She enjoys being an active part of the FOR Club.
Heidi is a busy mom who loves to explore local parks and attractions with her husband and three kids. A lifelong artist, she loves to create and design pieces with function and style, both for herself and others. She is very social and loves to meet new friends of all ages. Heidi and her husband have been San Marcos residents since 2010 and love the sense of community they have found here. After graduating from UCSD, she worked as the Volunteer Coordinator at Art San Diego and Makers Faire San Diego. She has chosen to leave her career behind for now in order to be a stay at home mom to her young kids. Heidi is excited to serve on the Executive Board this year, and looks forward to working with an amazing team to help the FOR Club achieve its goals in fresh and innovative ways!
Angela is a born and raised North County girl. She graduated high school from Rancho Buena Vista, completed an AA at Mira Costa, and earned her BA from UCSD. She currently works part time as a CA licensed Professional Fiduciary and Estate Planning legal assistant. She and her husband have been San Marcos residents since 2013 and joined the Mustang family in 2017 when their eldest daughter entered into elementary school. They also have a little mustang-in- training at home. She is so excited to be a part of the FOR Club; to invest in the foundation of our children’s earliest educational memories.
