Meet the Executive Board
This is Breena's 7th year on the board and 3rd year as President. She has 3 children; a 1st grader, a 4th grader and a 6th grader at WPMS. She loves taking an active role in her children's education and believes that parent involvement is a major predictor of student success. Breena was born and raised in southeastern Idaho. After high school she moved to Portland, OR where she obtained her BS in Administration of Justice from PSU and began her career as a Legal Assistant in Dependency Law. She later took some time to travel overseas with her husband. Shortly after returning, they started their family and eventually settled here in San Marcos. She loves the Richland and San Marcos Community and plans to continue to be involved throughout her children's educational career.
1st Vice President
This is Hedi's second year on the board, but she has been active in helping our school since her son, who is now in 4th grade, started TK. She loves getting the chance to help out in the classroom, and is hopeful she will get to resume doing so next school year. Hedi grew up in Upland, CA and attended Cal State Los Angeles where she obtained her BA in Liberal Studies. She continued on to receive her Masters in Education and teaching credentials from UC Riverside. Hedi taught elementary school for 8 years and is currently a stay-at-home parent. She loves painting, baseball, and traveling.

Emily is a native San Diegan, growing up in Point Loma and attending the Academy of Our Lady of Peace. She received her teaching credential and Masters in Education from San Diego State University. This was followed by teaching fifth grade in parochial schools and in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. After the birth of her first son, she worked part time in the Poway Unified School District as an impact teacher. Emily and her family moved to San Marcos in 2016 and absolutely love the Richland community! She is currently a stay at home mom to three Mustangs: a 4th grader, a 1st grader, and one in pre-k. Emily is thrilled to be participating in the FOR Club!
Isabelle is serving as this year's Recording Secretary and has two children attending Richland Elementary, Lana entering 4th Grade and Lara entering Kindergarten. She's excited to contribute her time and energy to serving the school, students and staff at Richland Elementary using her former 3 years of experience on prior Non-Profit and PTO boards. Her career experience has previously been in business operations roles at various companies, most notably in the senior care and allied health industry. Currently, she owns a project management and business operations consulting company and is also launching a children's dress clothing line. In her spare time, she loves to travel, rock climb, stand-up paddle-board and seek out adventures to enjoy with her family.
Allison grew up in Colorado where she attended The University of Colorado. She majored in Biology and Secondary Education. She has a student in kindergarten as well as a future Mustang at home. Prior to staying home with her kids, Allison taught 8th grade science in The Vista Unified School District. She enjoys being involved in the community and is looking forward to her first year as a member of the FOR Club.
Kristyn Pittenger was born and raised in San Diego. After attending University of San Diego High School (now Cathedral High), she graduated from UCSD with a BS in biochemistry and cell biology. She and her family moved to San Marcos during the summer of 2020 and were happy to join the Mustang family that fall. Her son is now in 3rd Grade; she also has a daughter in middle school. Being involved at her childrens' schools has always been a priority for her, and she's been an active volunteer since her daughter was a Kindergartener.
