Meet the Executive Board
President
Breena Hope
Breena was born and raised in southeastern Idaho. After high school she moved to Portland, OR where she obtained her BS in Administration of Justice from PSU and began her career as a Legal Assistant working in Dependency Law. She later took some time to travel overseas with her husband and shortly after returning, they started their family and eventually settled here in San Marcos. She has three Mustangs; one in fourth grade, one in second grade, and the other in Pre-K. This is Breena's 5th year on the board and she loves being an active member of her children’s school.
1st Vice President
Hedi Wolpoff
This is Hedi's second year on the board, but she has been active in helping our school since her son, who is now in 4th grade, started TK. She loves getting the chance to help out in the classroom, and is hopeful she will get to resume doing so next school year. Hedi grew up in Upland, CA and attended Cal State Los Angeles where she obtained her BA in Liberal Studies. She continued on to receive her Masters in Education and teaching credentials from UC Riverside. Hedi taught elementary school for 8 years and is currently a stay-at-home parent. She loves painting, baseball, and traveling.
2nd Vice President
Emily Richley
Emily is a native San Diegan, growing up in Point Loma and attending the Academy of Our Lady of Peace. She received her teaching credential and Masters in Education from San Diego State University. This was followed by teaching fifth grade in parochial schools and in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. After the birth of her first son, she worked part time in the Poway Unified School District as an impact teacher. Emily and her family moved to San Marcos in 2016 and absolutely love the Richland community! She is currently a stay at home mom to three Mustangs: a 4th grader, a 1st grader, and one in pre-k. Emily is thrilled to be participating in the FOR Club!
Recording Secretary
Meghan Lillie
Meghan grew up locally and attended school in San Marcos Unified. She attended Cal. State Long Beach and earned her bachelors in Liberal Studies and then went to UCLA for her teaching credential and Masters in Education. Meghan taught in San Marcos for 13 years at Twin Oaks Elementary and La Costa Meadows Elementary. Currently she is staying at home with her two Mustangs, one who is in first grade and one who is in preschool. She is very excited to participate in FOR Club and be part of the Richland community.
Corresponding Secretary
Allison Bowcock
Allison grew up in Colorado where she attended The University of Colorado. She majored in Biology and Secondary Education. She has a student in kindergarten as well as a future Mustang at home. Prior to staying home with her kids, Allison taught 8th grade science in The Vista Unified School District. She enjoys being involved in the community and is looking forward to her first year as a member of the FOR Club.
Treasurer
Kristyn Pittenger
Kristyn Pittenger was born and raised in San Diego. After attending University of San Diego High School (now Cathedral High), she graduated from UCSD with a BS in biochemistry and cell biology. She has worked for Sharp HealthCare for about 20 years as a Histologist/Pathology Assistant. She and her family moved to San Marcos during the summer of 2020 and were happy to join the Mustang family that fall. Her son is now in 3rd Grade; she also has a daughter in middle school. Being involved at her childrens' schools has always been a priority for her, and she's been an active volunteer since her daughter was a Kindergartener. This self-professed introvert loves reading, crafting, being in nature, and spending time with her family.
