Get Involved

The FOR Club operates solely on our community members' generosity of time, funding and spirit.  Explore this page for several different opportunities in which you can become more involved.

Volunteer

We love volunteers! The FOR Club relies almost entirely on volunteers to operate.  We always need help staffing, decorating and tearing down our events and fundraisers.  Volunteer efforts help to provide these wonderful opportunities to our Mustangs. We greatly appreciate any help parents, family members, and students are able to offer.  Click the link below learn more about ongoing and upcoming Volunteer Opportunities and access our Volunteer Sign Up Forms. Thank you so much in advance for helping to support a thriving school community.

Pony Pals

Pony Pals treat a Richland teacher of their choice to a year of secret treats and gifts to make them feel special and appreciated. There is no spending requirement.  On average Pony Pals treat their teacher about once a month.  Once you sign up, confidentially, for a teacher our Pony Pal coordinator will contact you with a list of some of the teacher's "favorites". Gifts can be left at the office for your teacher.

Room Parents

Room parents are classroom volunteers.  If you volunteer as a Room Parent you will get the opportunity to work closely with your Mustang's teacher and help where needed.  Traditionally you would run the classroom booth during the Halloween Carnival. However, as we navigate this year, FOR Club is working on ways to keep the Room Parents involved with the Halloween Carnival.  TK - 3rd Room Parents will have their choice of one spring event to help with, 4th grade Room Parents will help with Sailing On and 5th grade Room Parents will help with the Spring dance. If you are interested, please speak with your student's teacher.  Click below for event sign ups and more information.

Committees

This year promises to be an exciting year for the FOR Club as we continue to strive for the balance of proud traditions and new opportunities.  In an effort to advance this goal, we hope to enhance the structure of the Club and expand involvement opportunities forming a variety of different Committees.  Committees will meet at their convenience and will be expected to report back to the FOR Club Executive Board during the length of the nature of the committee. Click the link below to learn more or sign up.

Support

One of the core values at Richland Elementary FOR Club is the belief that everyone deserves access to a high quality education. Our commitment is to create that opportunity for all current and future students. We are always appreciative of support from our San Marcos community, which helps us provide an exceptional educational experience.  Perhaps you want to contribute to Richland but you just don't have enough time to attend an event.  Perhaps you want to support on top of attending events and participating in fundraisers.  Whatever the situation, donations are now accepted by clicking below.
