Class Posting Picnic

Do you have the first day of school jitters or just have some questions about what the first day of school will entail?  Come gather outside the school on August 16th to meet your Mustang's new classmates while enjoying some food, face painting, balloon art and fun.  The FOR Club executive Board will be there to answer any questions to help make sure your first day of school takes off with ease.

Back to School

Our Back to School event is a chance to visit your Mustang's teacher to hear all about the exciting things in store for the year to come.  Check out the classroom, meet fellow parents and get all the important updates you will need to start the school year off successfully.  
*Please note that this is an Adults Only event and there will not be any food trucks attending this year. 

Haunted House and Costume Sale

Every year the 5th graders put on this special frightful experience for you!  Come to the Richland cafeteria and choose the non-scary or the scary tour.  The non-scary tour keeps the lights on and there are no actors jumping out at you.  The scary tour keeps it dark and spooky! The Costume Drive will be set up outside the cafeteria to help accommodate your busy schedules!  Take advantage of the deals while supporting the school! 

Halloween Carnival

This is one of our biggest fundraisers and a great community building event.  All of our classes come together to host a booth and the day is jammed packed with vendors, food, entertainment provided by our Mustangs, a raffle, a Golf Ball Drop (which, this year offers a prize of Disneyland tickets), costume contests, music and more.  Come join us for a day of fun, food and prizes to help support Richland's Arts and Science programs.

Silver Graphics Art Fundraiser

Our Silver Graphics Art fundraiser is back for its second year!  Turn your child’s masterpiece into a keepsake while supporting the school. Wether you have a personalized water bottle for your kiddo, a tile to create a tile wall from your child’s years at Richland or a beautifully personalized shell pendant,  you can proudly and timelessly preserve and display these passing artistic years. You can choose to use the art submitted through the school or you can upload your own selections for limitless options. This year the items will ship in plenty of time for Christmas gifts.  Let's keep last years momentum going!

Holiday Choir

Our Holiday Choir is run by Luminary Arts.  Children rehearse 2 days a week for months and perform at school for their classmates and later, at the San Marcos Civic center during the Holiday Fair.  Rehearsal and performance dates and time TBA.

Alumni Golf Tournament

The golf tournament includes an 18-hole round of golf, on-course contests, and dinner.  Funds raised help to support arts, science, music, and engineering programs at Richland Elementary School.

Apex Fun Run

The APEX run is Richland Elementary’s Fun Run.  Our Mustangs spend 2 weeks receiving onsite education, recruiting sponsors, and preparing to put their all into running their best the day of the event.  This is a very fun and exciting event for the kiddos.  APEX provides online support and t-shirts which are distributed the day of the event.  FOR club schedules the event the day of the annual BBQ hosted by the district so parents can come enjoy lunch with their Mustang either before or after they run.  Room 20 will be open for shade and rest for parents who have Mustangs running at different times.  The Schedule of running times will be posted when provided to the Club.

Bingo De Mayo

Every Friday before Cinco De Mayo FOR Club hosts an annual Bingo De Mayo event for adults only.   Enjoy the evening with friends playing Bingo, participating in a raffle and silent auction.  Admission includes dinner and drinks are available for purchase.

Come visit your Mustangs classroom to see what they have been up to! Walk through their classroom to check out the work, chat with their teacher, friends and family members.  You will also get a chance to watch them perform what they have been learning n VAPA! Spring Play

Students spend the spring months rehearsing and preparing for an end of the year performance both at school and during the evening.  This year we are working to make changes to the way we handle admissions in an effort to alleviate difficulties experienced in the past.  Stay tuned for more information.
