District Volunteer Policy
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! All volunteers, new and returning, must complete an application. The clearance requirements depend on the amount of time you will be spending on campus.
Please visit the district site to find out which clearances and documents you need to fill out in order to volunteer at the school.
Pony Pals is a year-long appreciation program that allows parent volunteers to provide small, meaningful gifts of gratitude to the instructors here at Richland.
Here's how it works:
Parents sign up to be a Pony Pal for 1 (or more) teachers/aides for the whole school year.
Pony Pal parents (secretly) gift their assigned teacher small, fun gifts throughout the school year using a "Favorite Things" form filled out by the teacher. Most Pony Pals give one small gift per month, dropped off in the front office.
Pony Pal names are kept secret until a fun reveal at the end of the school year.
Send an email to ponypals@richlandforclub.com to sign up.
Room parents are classroom volunteers. If you volunteer as a Room Parent you will get the opportunity to work closely with your Mustang's teacher and help where needed.
Room parents run the classroom Halloween Carnival booth, and act as liasons for information from the For club and the teacher to the parents in that class. If you are interested, please speak with your student's teacher.
This year promises to be an exciting year for the FOR Club as we continue to strive for the balance of proud traditions and new opportunities. In an effort to advance this goal, we hope to enhance the structure of the Club and expand involvement opportunities forming a variety of different Committees. Committees will meet at their convenience and will be expected to report back to the FOR Club Executive Board during the length of the nature of the committee.

Attending For Club meetings is a great way to stay updated on all upcoming events and on ways to get involved.
The FOR Club holds meetings every second Tuesday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm. Expect reports from the Principal Mandy Jackson, the FOR Club Executive Board and Committee Coordinators.
Check out the calendar for the date of the next meeting or the meeting minutes page to see records of past meetings.
