2019/2020 Halloween Carnival

Another Successful Year!

We continue our long standing Richland tradition with another successful Carnival.  IT takes months of preparation and hundreds of volunteers coming together to make such a special event.  This has proven to be a full community event and we can all celebrate the achievement!  Your generosity and hard work raised close to $20,000 this year.

The game booths were super fun for the kids.  Chelsea Stollmeyer did a great job preparing and organizing everything in the game area again this year.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked in the booths throughout the day and a special thank you to the Room Parents for organizing the volunteers for their classes.  Our kids look forward to Carnival every year and we couldn't do it without all of your support.
There was a three way tie for the booth decorating contes!  Mrs. Ocampo, Mrs. Bieraugel and Mrs. Carlson's classes win an extra recess.  Mrs. Carlson's class also gets an extra recess for the most donated items.

RAFFLE
We raffled off over 100 prizes this year!  Thank you to everyone who donated to make this possible, to everyone who came in to help create the beautiful baskets, to the volunteers who ran the booth all day long and to Jenny Rybarczyk for taking the lead on donations.  Over half of our revenue came from the raffle so you contributions do add up.

HAUNTED HOUSE
The haunted House had an awesome turnout with record breaking sales! As a special one-night only event we had so much fun watching everyone enter with anticipation and come out ready to get spooked again!  A big thank you to Tessa Page and Mrs. Kilmas for all of their planning and hard work

CAKE WALK

Thanks to everyone who donated for the Calk Walk and Cake Contest.  As you probably saw, there were fabulous cakes dropped off for the cake contest and the top 3 winners in both adult and kid caregories were truly impressive.  Check out the winning cakes in the gallery below.

COSTUME SALE

A special thanks to Mrs. Stevens for organizing the costume sale again.  When you are packing up your Halloween costumes this week, consider bringing any you'd like to donate to school so we can continue this great fundraiser next year.  We'll one accepting your gently used costumes through November 15th.
